ANd do I need more than the 5 files that jdesants gave thankss like controllers or anything. I too have had the Vista pains and decided to go back to XP. I plan on putting xp pro on it. I have seen where the nice gentleman posted the link to all the drivers needed except for the wireless lan. You’all have fun now, ya hear! The downloaded the Sigmatel driver for my audio which works but now no modem. I had an in-built SD card adapter which didnt work anymore after re-installation.

As of these days the wireless card in there will only work with Vista contrpller and you know your choices by now. Finally got my data recovered from the drive. Virtual PC http: Downgraded from Vista to XP. You can try file recovery programs like Recuva and Pc Inspector, it would be preferable not to install anything onto the hard drive, if you can hook the hard drive up to another computer to do the recovery would be best.

Went in ok, but had more problems with things like Sound card, Display, Lan etc. I got everything else to work thanks to this thread. Jdesants, Can you please let me know where and how I can get those drivers.

maxs Also, did you try the instructions on the bottom of this thread to update the wireless card with the driver mentioned? Have you checked the store’s refund policy or Warranty obligations?

I know it is a Sigmatel but I have yet to get one of the drivers working on it.
